May Recap

May was a really exciting and memorable month for us, filled with some incredible opportunities and plenty of variety. From behind-the-scenes creative work to some very special TV moments, it was a month that kept us busy in the best possible way.

One of the highlights of May was helping out with some magic consultancy at the Minack Theatre for a production of Doctor Faustus. Set in such a stunning and dramatic location, it was an unforgettable place to work. The day itself was long and very tiring, but it was also incredibly rewarding. We loved getting creative with the production team, problem-solving together and helping to bring moments of magic to life in a way that felt natural and impactful for the show.

Another huge moment for us this month was making a very special appearance on Lorraine on ITV to promote our journey on Britain’s Got Talent. Being invited onto the show was such an honour, and the whole experience was made even better by how lovely everyone was. Lorraine herself was so warm and welcoming and even came to have a chat with us in our dressing room before we went live, which really helped calm the nerves and made the day feel extra special.

Not long after that, our Britain’s Got Talent episode finally aired. It was surreal watching it all back and seeing the response afterwards. Reading through everyone’s comments and messages of support meant so much to us, and we felt incredibly grateful for all the love and encouragement we received.

Following the excitement of BGT, we headed back on the road to Butlins with our touring show and also visited a couple of smaller holiday parks along the way. On top of that, May was packed with close-up gigs, which meant our schedule stayed busy throughout the month. We love the variety that close-up performances bring, as they allow us to connect with audiences in a more personal way and keep every performance feeling fresh and exciting.

After one of our close-up gigs, we managed to squeeze in a day exploring Brighton, which was such a treat. We do not often get the chance to properly look around the places we travel to for work, so having the time to wander, relax and enjoy the seaside was a really lovely change of pace and a perfect way to round off a busy month.

May was full of special moments, creativity and unforgettable experiences, and it set us up perfectly for an even busier summer ahead.
