Jay & Joss are the award-winning illusionists who stunned the judges on Britain’s Got Talent. Now they’re back with a mind-bending new show – a chance to sit back and leave real life behind!
It’s Not a Game invites you into a world where nothing is quite as it seems. With jaw-dropping stunts, breathtaking visuals and moments that defy belief, reality and illusion are about to dissolve. Can you be sure where one ends and the other begins?
Fresh from Britain’s Got Talent and Penn & Teller’s Fool Us, acclaimed magic duo Jay & Joss are now thrilling audiences all over the world. Celebrated as “spectacular” (Entertainment Daily) and “awe-inspiring” (OK Magazine), they’re also known to millions as “the boys who made Simon Cowell believe in magic.”
Jay & Joss are a married UK magic and illusion duo, recognised for delivering large-scale, contemporary stage illusion that combines danger, precision and theatrical storytelling. Working as performers, creators and producers, they have built a reputation for magic that press and audiences alike describe as “spectacular” (Entertainment Daily) and “awe-inspiring” (OK Magazine), balancing cinematic scale with genuine live connection. Their partnership on stage mirrors their life off stage, shaped by years of collaboration, trust and a shared creative vision.
Their work has reached mainstream audiences through major broadcast appearances including Britain’s Got Talent, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Lorraine and The Chris Moyles Show, provoking reactions ranging from “utter disbelief” (The Mirror) to being labelled “the boys that made Simon Cowell believe in magic” (Britain’s Got Talent – ITV / Leicester Mercury). They have performed at prestigious industry events such as the Royal Variety Aftershow Party and are regularly commissioned to design and build original illusions for television and live performance, including ongoing work with Stephen Mulhern, who has described them as “fantastic magic.”
Both Associates of The Inner Magic Circle with Silver Stars, Jay & Joss were named The Magic Circle’s Champions of Stage Illusion, recognising exceptional technical skill, originality and stagecraft. Their performances are praised for being “really funny… perfectly done” (Penn & Teller: Fool Us – ITV / The CW), with audiences consistently “left gobsmacked” (Daily Record). Fellow performers echo that respect, with Derren Brown calling their work “inspiring stuff.” It’s Not a Game represents the most ambitious and personal expression of their work to date, bringing together the scale, danger and precision they are known for with a story that asks what happens when technology, control and humanity collide.
